COMMISSIONs CORNER: FAN ARTs AND OCsWELCOME TO MY O.C. AND FANART COMMISSION CORNER (UPDATED BY NOV 2013)
DO YOU HAVE YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN MIND? HOW ABOUT YOUR OCs?
If you have a project for me, do send me a note or drop a message anywhere at my profile. We can work things outs.
I'm trying to build up the profile and starting if off by offering affordable commissioned arts when possible and prioritized Original Characters.
Promoting them in the experimental style of airbrushing and painting with that pseudo-3D illustration feel to it.
Semi-Realism ANIME or Gaming OC.
For example a character created in roleplaying games, fanfic characters or the very character that is born within your imagination.
You really want to breath life to them to share a part of yourself materialized from the confine of your mind into a form of an artwork.
Lifelike with soft lighting.
So cute! What a unique idea for a skirt!
aww she is very cute :3 and pretty love it~
as always, good use of movement in the hair that gives dynamism to the drawing, and his lovely expression, simply love it
She reminds me of a female-version of the Mad Hatter for some reason....
nice look. quite smooth and cute
A fun-going character she is, also a nice curveball to keep me on my feet - anime is half of why I am here in dA, I care for them as much as I do the VG ones, just that I'm a bigger VG fan
I just love everything about this!!!!
Glad that you like the semi-realism take on this
Tbh I can't draw linearts, or understand them, so I compensate for this style
Thanks again for dropping by, cheers!
I do! I want to start into it once I get back into art:3
I hear that line art isn't neccessary in realism like paintings, so I take it that you used a sketch? :3
My style's foundation is airbrushing, so I don't use conventional sketches as they are more of a general guideline and doesn't help much (or at all) to depict anatomy in the main process.
So my version of sketch I call it 'value sketch', I use just a simple soft brush with 3-5 tones, Smudge Tool and eraser to 'sculpt' the figure or base first, something like this: sta.sh/0233lknvzxz7
Once the base has been established, I then enlarged them and start the regular painting and airbrushing work, result is this:
As you can see, I use figure number (1).
It's an unorthodox method to start off a work but my gallery should speak the results
Anatomy is very important, it's not just about getting correct proportions, but since I'm doing semi-realism 'stylistic' or 'idealistic' manga style anatomy this step in my process is ever more so important. ;D
OH MY GOD! This looks amazing!
Great idea for the skirt.
This painting has just hit the right spot for me! I love her so much, such a cool outfit as well. Love it!!
Thanks big time mate!
It was quintessential that I get to really feel the 'essence' of the character in order to materialed that, so what ever happened next is a matter about depicting that.
But of course style is prominent - realism wouldn't bring the kind of charms that of animes and cartoons.
This looks like hard work you did here. Well done.
triple upload??? wow. the front page is gonna be full today
