Not going overboard with realism as I wanted to keep that cartoon-y charms of the game's cell-shade art style.
Here, I'm hoping to portray depth in Lilith - capturing that rare melancholic vibe from her. Weariness in eyes and the staring into space. A less gun-ho depiction but complex imagery of the character.
DO CHECK OUT MY MECHROMANCER ARTWORK AS WELL, TQ ^_^

The look in her eyes reminds me of BL2 and the moment with Roland. (Don't want to spoil anything for those whom haven't played the game).
I do have to ask, as a hobbyist myself, I can never seem to get a look on my characters like this. I have to use more dramatic facial looks such as frowning eyebrows, tears, frowning lips, etc. It all has to be overly dramatic.
I really want to be able to portray so much emotion into a simplistic and elegant way. (Not saying your art is simplistic. The details, dedication, and time put into your work is astonishing.)
Thank you so much for your time! And I applaud you for the honest dedication you have for art, regardless of expenses or time spent.
