Here, I tried to materialize her personality into human form instead of conceptually converting an alien Asari into human. So basically I depict the impression I felt of her when long gone from playing Mass Effect.
To the Liara aficionados, do accept her with open hearts - I'm not directly portraying what she may look like in physical human form, but an emotional impression of her. She'll always remain that bubbly and sheepish blue Asari that we know of 
Okay, she's a ginger here; of course I didn't self-indulge but gathered opinions from the mass Liara fanatics - the general direction of the concept is as depicted.

Overall Vision
Originality
Technique ImpactThe picture is a very stirringly amazing picture that I find both interesting and really aesthetically exceptional.
Vision:The painting does an truly astonishing work of reflecting a human version of how Liara might be portrayed had she been a human character. It is an excellent likeness of her physical appearance. Her facial structure and her features bear striking resemblance to her asari-self to the point that I can imagine the change of colour and her few exotic alien-features in my mind and practically see her before me. The way that her hair is styled to emulate the asari crest in particular deserves praise for the creative and innovative design which is brilliant in its simplicity. The choice of making her hair a light-brown/blond colour is well-chosen in my opinion as it compliments her skin-colour much the same way that Liara’s real bright blue skin is a natural part of the blue and white of her crest.
But even more than her physical appearance what is really stirring here for me is the portrayal of her personality and the essence of the person that she is in the games. She is not just drawn in a way to make her pleasing to people who might not find her true appearance appealing but painted with a respect for her and who she is; more an emotional representation as a human than just a woman who happens to physically resemble Liara. Her expression; the way that she looks at the viewer and the way that her lips is ever so slight parted and the subtlety and empathic radiance that characterises her really makes Liara shine forth through the picture for me.
Originality:While there certainly are pictures of characters changed across either gender or species there are few that really manages to preserve the essence of the character portrayed like this does. The way that even features that is not part of her real appearance – like most obviously her hair here – adds to what binds her to her original self rather than detracts from it is something I have rarely seen. The way that she is so easily recognisable as her quintessence and fundamental nature have been carries over to this incarnation while retaining respect for who she is really adds something phenomenal to the picture.
Technique:The painting is picture of superb quality. The composition with the blurred monitors of Liara’s quarters in the Normandy in the background and the way the lighting creates gorgeous spectral plays of shadow across her throat and eyes and highlights across her hair and lips itself is a feat considerable skill. And that is before taking into account the sheer talent of making her not only so near photo-realistic but so true to her inspirational asari-self in features and general looks while still painting her as a human is impressive to say the least.
Impact: I love Liara and will always prefer her original appearance that I have grown so fond of over any other version of her and am not usually a fan of changing the way a character is. That said I will say that this picture does a wonderful job of showing the essence of her emotional self across the species barrier while still respecting who she really is. It really resonates clearly with the ideals I adore about Liara while it remains a unique work in itself. A truly delicate balance to be sure, one that is very well achieved here.
