Hey, take your time with this reply.

I finally beat BioShock 2, and I was really happy with how effective Eleanor is as a fighter.  Hell, even as Good/Savior Eleanor (which was the ending I was aiming for), she sure enjoys a good asskicking and wasn't above showmanship.  Since I have taken care of my Rapture visit, I might as well move on to Columbia and explore the conflict that eats away at Booker DeWitt.

I also enjoy the fine details you gave Eleanor's suit.  It was clearly far different than the other Big Sister suits in the fact that it was simplistic and void of the bindings and shackles that seem to represent the mindlessness that the other Big Sisters, yet you avoided the convinence of just leaving it white.

Well, there's little problem with her suit but ... FUNK OF ! This is really beautiful ! (And not only because Eleanor is one of my favorite character of all time)

It's hard to find good works featuring Eleanor, even on deviant art. I love this, what did you do to her face? because she looks beautiful.

Nice. Too bad I had to get fully into BioShock games after Infinity, so when I finally played BioShock 2, Eleanor wasn't so interesting to me as many players have said. Especially after character like Elizabeth.  :D
But I think her character improved a bit when she "became" a Big Sister. Too bad we couldn't have that earlier in the game...

That was a crappy detail, in which you only got to explore (and thus enjoy) Eleanor adopting a Big Sister persona in the final segment of the game, meaning you only had, at most, 30 or so minutes to utilize one of the best Plasmids in BioShock history.  However, it did make some sense in the telling of the story, especially since Delta didn't have much time left to begin with.

Okay, now this might seem a bit exaggerated, but this is 100% the best drawing on the Internet. I love this so much, and I literally pissed myself when I stumbled upon it. Please continue to make more of your beautiful, spectacular, fantastic artwork. Words alone cannot explain my love and passion for this piece. Thank you.

This is quite the piece of art. Your incredibly detailed and lighting skills are quite amazing. Now I am a big fan Of Bioshock2 myself so I find this
quite amazing (Even though you did leave out a few key details) it is still ONE of the best pieces of (Big Sister) bioshock fan art. I'm Truly inspired from this.
Keep up the great work.

Sincerely, PoohbearArt :-)

Those are from textured brushes, it's impossible to use a round brush alone for these. I've study heaps of Pro artists and how they applied them, like these awesome folks for example: davidrapozaart.deviantart.com/… danluvisiart.deviantart.com/ga… :D

A similar brush set that I use here is this: danluvisiart.deviantart.com/ar…
It has everything you need for material and organic textures :w00t:

Yes, Ellie lingers in my mind, but I don't want to just do another portrait of her you see around here a lot; I'm thinking of a complete picture of her with eerie backgrounds and such :D
So it may take some time to come up with something decent ;p

Actually I decided to make a portrait in the end lol ;p
But to stand out from the crops of many other Ellie portraits, I went for realism - almost looks like Ellen Page :D

Thanks! :w00t:
These characters you mentioned has been done many times by others, if I were to make a Silent Hill artwork, I would love to make one from Downpour, my favorite monster a.k.a 'Doll'.
Yeah what is the official name of this monster anyways haha. I heard 'barbie' were thown, some called them 'shadows' ;p

Well, yeah, but your style is just amazing! I'd love to see Alma and Alessa by you! Pretty please? :)
It's Doll, you got it right. "Shadow" is the name of their half, they attack you while you don't kill the main body.  Barbie was just a nickname.
And it's be awesome if you made the Doll, or any of the Silent Hill monsters. Maybe Ghost-Cynthia from Silent Hill 4 too!

I'm quite seeing  a pattern here - I think you have a soft spot for eerie brunette gaming ladies lol ;p
Okay, I'll just write in on my list, yeah I do actually have a list of possible projects written on a whiteboard.

Nah I just like the concept of the doll, fighting them is fun actually, also they are a playful bunch. Remember they played 'hide and seek' in the library in Downpour? That was cute haha

Soft spot? Soft Spot?! I'm CRAZY about them!! XD XD XD Alessa is my favorite, with Eleanor coming in second(That used to be Diva from Blood Plus, but then there was a certain rape and, well...), Alice coming in third and Alma in fourth. Unfortunately, not a lot of eerie brunettes here in Brazil. XD DX
Thank you! I'll be sure to keep up!
Well, they're a bit scarier and cool than the Nurses. But those Needles from Homecoming were a pain in the ass! I don't think there's a monster in Downpour that can be that annoying to kill!

I love Bioshock, but I have a problem with Bioshock 2. I don't know, it just seems more childish than the first one. However, this one doesn't make it seem very childish at all! :D Love the artwork and keep up the quality work!

I think they tried to push the envelope from an already proven formula of the first, which in turn lost that subtlety and class.
But of course I ignore that and bring the eerie elements of B1 into b2 here.

Btw, have you checked out my latest Metroid artwork made for a book cover commission? Maybe you did, my memory isn't that trustworthy lol
Cheers! :w00t:
