It's just the trusty simple speckle brush, instead of round shapes they are shaped almost like tiny peanuts to give that natural pore look View this for better details:
There are few decent skin brushes here (non photo touch-up) that does well for painting, depending on your style, this is best for a natural feel: And for that glistening shiny pores, this: Although I find it too 'aggressive' for close-up face portrait and best for full body shots where you want to exaggerate the pores, unless it's the region that glistens.
Awesome! Can't wait to hear back from you in regards to that commission ^_^ (in which the OC description gave previously will seriously be re-vamped in order to help give you a better picture for the character, promise XD)
Yeah I pretty much stopped working on all art for a little over a month and have just started again trying to get back into it. I really need to just take some time to do some trial and error stuff and looks at some tutorials to learn how to get a better handle on shading (noses are pissing me off right now) along with over all composition. Pretty much the same stuff as before. Still trying to get a greyscale piece done to then go over it with color. I just get frustrated at my art and tend to give up on it....
