The facial expression I was inspired by this Charlize Theron 'look' as this apathetic Captain in the movie PROMETHEUS;
Here, Samus's expression I went for that 'stoic' but equally powerful and intimidating "strikes fear among whom that gazes upon it" look.

I thought I recognised something about Prometheus in the expression. One thing I can have a grudging respect for with the film is the art design and the casting choices. Shame it was bogged down by an atrocious screenplay.

Lovely work as always, as we've all come to expect from you. Strange, it seems as though the artists who draw Samus more often than not portray her more realistically than the games themselves do, and this is no exception. You've captured her character gorgeously.

Great job with the lighting and the details in the face. You handled texture and perspective well in this piece. Looks like the nose and then the legs joining to the hips might have given you a little trouble, but it turned out great.
